My Father Gandhi

This film was an eye opener to the world of Gandhi starting from scratch. You can see how his Mahatma Gandhi's relationship developed with his wife, their sons daughter inlaw and grandchildren. This wasn't an easy film to watch as you felt the, pain, anger, dissapointment and happinessas as the story unfolded. Which made you ask yourself lots of questions and want to read up further on how Mahatma's mind worked.

I loved the way the black and white footage from the the 1900's onwards slipped in along side the events, which really gave it a historical feel. The the film was in subtitles which was great as it wouldn't have worked with dubbing. If you like films with an historical element then it's worth watching this one.
